Melody & Bryan

Well isn’t Zoe just the cutest . .she is our little muse and model. We just had to take the opportunity to photograph her in her little purple Sesame Street Zoe outfit. How cute is that? And of course I had to blog that we finally captured her pretty little smile. She is laying on a cute fuzzy blanket that we picked up in Niagara Falls, Canada because it reminded Bryan of Jeff Koons who is the biggest modern artist on the planet - he is the new Warhol.  And yes she spit up on her adorable Zoe outfit . .what can I say she is a baby and they do that.  Also, that purple sweatshirt she is wearing is the very first thing that Zoe picked out for herself. We were at the store and Bryan asked her if she wanted it . . every time she saw it, she smiled and so we had to get it for her.

The second set of photos are from early January when we had our friend Matt come over with his flame tattoos to pose with Zoe while she was naked . .ha. As you can see she couldn’t quite hold it and peed on him . . he was a really good sport about it. Until next time!

Well finally we are happy to talk about a new camera Bryan got back in November. He got other gear as well, but was most excited about getting his Nikon D3! It is simply the best camera on the planet right now and we are so excited to start a new year and a new wedding season with it! This is from Bryan: Peter Parker, Spiderman’s Alter Ego, shoots Nikon. Superman’s photographer buddy Jimmy Olson also shoots Nikon. And if Bruce Lee was still alive and was a photographer, he’d shoot Nikon as well! The second half of the post is from a magazine shoot Bryan did with his new Nikon D3. I love the colorful spots he found - especially the beautiful teal wall.

Well I can’t believe it’s already 2008 and my little Zoe is getting so big. We went to visit some friends who just had a baby and she looked so big in comparison to their newborn. They had a scale and we weighed her and she is almost 13 pounds now . .ha!

Onto the photos, we thought it would be fun to setup a strobe and use Bryan’s brand new camera (we will talk more about that in a future post – he is very excited!) and photograph Zoe in some different outfits and more importantly with both of my brothers and their families. Isn’t Zoe just too adorable in her baby gap bear outfit! She can thank her great Uncle Jim and Aunt Ellie for that cute outfit. As for commenting on the rest of the photos . .well my nephew Brett is just so silly and quite the character. I think Katie looks so pretty holding Zoe and my brother Jeff their dad looks like he is thinking “you talking to me” as he holds her. I absolutely love the photo of my brother Matthew yelling as Bryan took photos non-stop while Kathy tries to protect poor Zoe’s eyes from the bright flashes . . . ha. And the two kitty photos, well the first kitty is Matthew and Kathy’s psycho kitty Angel – pretty but psycho and the second photo is of their kitty Bootsie and my nephew Chris.
